And just to be clear, I’m not talking about those times when your dog gets quiet, or your cat gets moody. I’m talking about them starting to feel like a threat!
These 7 pet behaviors are believed to be the signs of possession!
1. Staring at You at Night
Every cat owner has woken up once or twice with their kitten sitting on top of them and watching them sleep.
You get freaked out for a moment, but then you two cuddle up and go back to sleep.
But this doesn’t happen that often. If your dog or cat keeps entering your room on their own late at night, and especially if you feel uneasy, it might signal possession.
When an animal is possessed, the energy behind their gaze changes completely. Instead, it feels invasive and predatory!
They might also produce strange noises in the back of their throat, and some people even describe their pets mimicking human speech patterns!

2. Avoiding Sunlight
Animals adore the sun, and anyone who has a backyard knows how much pets love to lie in the sunny grass.
Even indoors, they always pick out the sunny parts of the floor to rest on.

Their eyes will dilate wildly, their lips will curl back, and they might try to attack you or your family.
If your pet suddenly feels completely foreign, it might be the entity.
5. Foaming at the Mouth
This is one of the scariest experiences for any pet owner!
When your animal starts foaming at the mouth, your mind immediately goes to poison, an illness, or something you fed them.
But when you take them to the vet, you get told they’re fine. The bloodwork comes back clean, and the physical exam too.
It’s believed that, sometimes, this foam shows up as a physical manifestation of dark spiritual energy.

6. Complete Detachment
This sign of possession typically applies to dogs. Cats are naturally more independent and have periods when they don’t want much contact with humans.

7. Unfamiliar Noises
All animals have a specific set of sounds they make, and it’s quite rare that you’ll hear a completely new one come from them.
But when an animal is possessed, they can produce sounds that absolutely shouldn’t be coming out of its body!
You might hear a clicking noise or even something similar to whispering!

8. Can You Help Them?
Naturally, you don’t want to give up on your pet, possessed or not.
So, what can you actually do to help them and send the dark entity on its way?
Essentially, you perform a spiritual cleansing much like you would if it were a person surrounded by dark energy.
