It&rsquo;s part of the whole &ldquo;I can fix him&rdquo; trope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If someone really rubs you the wrong way, one heated argument in the rain isn&rsquo;t going to change much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. You don&rsquo;t wait for a dramatic revelation at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We read this because it creates <strong>delicious tension<\/strong> and makes the eventual payoff feel earned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, in reality, communicating like an adult is the standard. If your partner can&rsquo;t do that, you won&rsquo;t stay around for the grand gesture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. That&rsquo;s what sustains relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
