While Islamic teachings about Jesus differ from those of Christianity, Muslims deeply respect him as one of God&rsquo;s greatest prophets. In fact, Jesus&mdash;known as <strong>Isa (&#1593;&#1610;&#1587;&#1609;)<\/strong> in Arabic&mdash;is mentioned more times in the Quran than the Prophet Muhammad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Islam presents Jesus as a miracle-working messenger chosen by God, born of the Virgin Mary, and destined to play a significant role at the end of time. However, Islamic beliefs reject the idea that Jesus is divine or the Son of God.
