While a mature adult could just text to say, “Hey, I miss you,” not everyone enjoys that approach.

Each zodiac sign has its own bizarre method for getting you to notice them. Some manipulate, others start fights, and some very much expect you to read their minds.

Let’s expose how exactly each sign begs for your attention, so that you can stop guessing and give them the validation that they so need!

1. Aries

Aries doesn’t believe in subtlety. In fact, they strongly believe that “hinting” is a waste of time. 

If they want attention, they’re not going to wait for you to notice. Oh, no. They will make it physically impossible for you to ignore them.

They might intrude on your personal space or say something provocative, just to get you to engage. 

Aries isn’t direct in a mature way, where they will ask to spend some time together. They’re direct in an unhinged way!

They simply won’t leave you alone until they’ve had their fill. All they want is a reaction. 

Even if you react to them saying something completely insane – ha, you reacted! That means your full attention is on them, and that was always the goal. 

Someone should really tell them we all see what they’re doing. 

2. Taurus

Taurus has a very specific strategy when they feel neglected: they go silent.

This is usually where they expect you to swoop in and shower them with attention. It’s a tad passive-aggressive, but that’s how they get sometimes.

Asking for you to notice them directly makes them feel too exposed. Instead, they’ll become a bit closed-off and wait.

And if you fail to notice? They become even quieter and actually very hurt. They might not say anything, but their attitude will change.

However, if you pick up on what they’re doing, they immediately go back to being their usual, loveable self.

They believe that if you care, you’ll notice these changes in their behavior.

3. Gemini

Gemini becomes a professional entertainer when they want attention. 

They’ll tell the most amazing stories and crack inside jokes. They’ll DM you on Instagram, and Snapchat you, and e-mail you, and send a voice note.

A great thing about Gemini is that they’re naturally gifted when it comes to attracting attention. They’re genuinely fun to be around, so people like engaging with them.

Another thing is that they don’t beg anyone to notice them. If you don’t respond in due time, they’ll absolutely slide into someone else’s DMs.

They’ll take their good conversation elsewhere, so in the end, it’s your loss.

4. Cancer

Cancer becomes extra caring toward you when they want your attention. 

They’ll remember to check in more often and remember things that are important to you.

It looks like they’re just being a great friend/partner, but there is an ulterior motive to the things they do. 

They’re trying to create closeness because that’s ultimately what they want. They need to feel connected.

If this works and you reciprocate, they’re happy, you’re happy, and everyone wins. But if it doesn’t work, they might get pretty sad, and you’ll never learn why.

They’ll get quieter and a bit more fragile.

Some would call it emotional warfare, but they rarely do it on purpose. 

5. Leo

When Leo wants to be noticed, they will do something worth noticing. You’ll hear about their accomplishments, you’ll see great pics of them, you’ll get to witness their talents, etc.

Their desire for attention is almost always tied to wanting to be admired. 

This rarely feels forced, because most Leos actually have a lot going on. They’re fabulous people.

Internally, however, they don’t want just anyone to notice them. They tend to seek approval from specific people in specific situations.

If that person doesn’t give them the validation they want, Leo falls apart. You won’t see it on their face, but they’ll spend days replaying what happened, wondering what they did wrong.

6. Virgo

When Virgo wants eyes on them, they’ll swoop in to help with something you never asked them to help with.

They might fix a minor problem you mentioned in passing, all to show you that they listen and care. 

It’s thoughtful, but it’s a bit self-serving as well; they want to make themselves necessary to you. Being needed is their thing and their favorite form of attention.

They’re not the type to say they miss you, but they will try to make themselves useful and hope it comes across as closeness.

When it works, and you’re grateful and engaged, they feel content and validated. 

When it doesn’t work, and all they get is a short “thanks,” Virgo feels robbed. It looks to them like they gave something, and it wasn’t reciprocated.

7. Libra

Libra turns up the charm when they want attention. They’ll put more effort in their looks, and they’ll generally be more present with you.

They’re naturally attractive, so they simply cast their net and wait. 

They’ll never come out and say they feel overlooked because that looks like a conflict, and we all know Libras don’t touch that.

So, they become the most appealing version of themselves and allow you to gravitate toward them. 

This almost always works, but there’s a catch: Because they choose to perform, they can never be sure what really got you to engage with them.

8. Scorpio

You know how some people hesitate to take up space? Well, Scorpio doesn’t, especially when they want your attention. 

Their presence becomes intense as they become deeply focused on you. It’s like engaging with you is the single most important thing, and you almost don’t have a choice in the matter.

They’ll maintain eye contact for a bit too long or get curious about personal stuff. Their tone changes, so even when they say something appropriate and ordinary, it feels layered.

They get you to engage by making themselves the best company you could ask for. 

Why would you be anywhere else when they’re right there, proposing you have a time of your life together.

They’re very enthusiastic and fun, and this translates well with everyone. So, this “plea” for attention usually works out for them.

Sagittarius wants people to match their energy and be excited about them.

If this is you, they’ll be over the moon, but if not, they’ll take their adventures elsewhere. 

10. Capricorn

Capricorn isn’t usually the one to brag openly, but they will subtly mention their achievements in conversation.

They have a very calculated way of weaving things into conversation, so it seems like they naturally came up. They’ll act like it’s no big deal, but they are doing it for attention. 

They’re not just trying to be noticed for existing or because you like them; they want you to admire their success and effort.

Ultimately, they want respeto.

Aquarius will throw a provocative bomb at you and wait. 

They’ll share a controversial opinion or bring up a topic they know riles you up. To them, attention equals debate.

They want pushback and engagement. 

Aquarians feel most connected when you put your minds together to explore an interesting topic.

12. Pisces

Pisces literally begs for attention. 

They’re the type to post vague, pathetic quotes on their Instagram story, and when you ask about it, they’ll mope and say “nothing.”

They might send you a song and say it reminds them of you with no further explanation. They might also become a bit more distant, forcing you to reach out and ask them about it.

So, they’re not direct, but they are very obvious.
