A paralyzed man was brought to Jesus by friends who couldn’t get through the crowd. They lowered him through the roof, right in front of Jesus.
Moved by their faith, He told them, “Get up, take your mat, and go home.”

In Nain, Jesus encountered a funeral procession for a young man, the only son of a widow.
