What if some people are born with a spiritually different gift? In religion, folklore, and modern spirituality, angels are connected with protection, guidance, messages, and divine purpose.
There is no scientific method to know if an angel “touched” someone at birth; such concepts are to be taken figuratively, not as evidence of a supernatural occurrence.
But some people appear to be particularly 繊細 to suffering, intuition, meaningful coincidences, and the emotions of others at an early age. Spiritual believers may say that these attributes are evidence of angelic influence.
1. You Felt Other People’s Pain From A Young Age
As a child, maybe you have been moved by another’s sadness quite often. You knew when someone was left out, were distressed when an animal was hurt, or wanted to hug an adult before you knew what was wrong.
Unusual compassion is sometimes seen as proof of a heart that arrived exceptionally sensitive to others, spiritually. It’s both a blessing and a curse.
Caring deeply doesn’t mean holding the sorrow of everyone. If angels indicate compassion and mercy, your sensitivity may have always been in your stars: to notice the misery others find easy to ignore.
2. Strangers Have Always Trusted You With Their Secrets
You find that people you don’t even know that well confide shocking intimate things.
A casual discussion turns into a confession, and someone who meant to say very little says too much about his or her concerns, grief, or private troubles.
This is a soothing energy on a spiritual level that causes others to spontaneously feel comfortable. Maybe folks can tell that you’ll listen without jumping to conclusions about them.
3. You’ve Escaped Situations That Could Have Ended Differently
Looking back, you may remember times when events seemed to protect you at just the perfect moment.
You changed your mind at the last minute, you were a few minutes late, you got a last-minute warning, or you got out of a situation just before something bad happened. These encounters can often be explained by ordinary coincidences.
However, some people see such extraordinary escapes as angelic protection spiritually. Perhaps your road has been rerouted more than you think.
4. Your Intuition Sometimes Arrives Without Explanation
Sometimes you just know that it feels right or bad before you know why. Someone appears trustworthy in a flash, or a seemingly perfect scenario generates an undefinable pause.
In psychology, we know our brain extracts nuanced information below the level of conscious awareness, so there doesn’t always have to be a supernatural explanation for intuition.
But occasionally, spiritually persistent inner cautions are perceived as guidance. If you’ve had accurate feelings that seem to come from nowhere, you could take them as a protective whisper.
5. Children And Animals Seem Naturally Comfortable Around You
Perhaps children look at you with curiosity, or babies become quiet in your company. Or animals may come up to you more readily than expected.
There are obvious explanations: voice, movement, smell, body language, and temperament. Spiritually, however, people have always connected children and animals with a kind of innocent sensibility.
This might make their comfort level with someone feel rather significant. Maybe the tenderness others see in you is something you’ve had even longer than you think.
6. You Have Always Felt Slightly Different Inside
Maybe it was hard to put into words, but part of you always felt that you were different from the others around you. That doesn’t necessarily mean better or more essential.
Instead, you may have been exceptionally thoughtful, emotionally attuned, or drawn to questions of life, death, God, destiny, and meaning early in childhood.
Spiritually, some view this everlasting emotion as a sign that they are an older or more sensitive soul. Perhaps you’re not meant to fit perfectly into every situation.
If you have always felt something deeper beneath regular existence, your spiritual path may involve knowing why that interest was implanted inside you.
7. Meaningful Coincidences Seem To Follow You
You think about somebody, and they text you. Over and over again, you ask for direction and are told the same thing. There is a number, phrase, song, or symbol that keeps repeating, even during emotional periods.
Many coincidences can be explained by probability and our predisposition to see patterns. But on a spiritual level, some people view such oddly timed repetitions as synchronicities, or mild nudges of instruction.
If they have been with you all your life, consider writing them down rather than quickly deciding what they signify.
8. Cruelty Has Always Disturbed You More Than Most
You can find it difficult to understand why people want to embarrass, manipulate, or injure others. Cruelty can linger in your mind long after the fact, even when you are not its victim.
Such sensitivity could be a sign of a naturally merciful heart, spiritually. But we should not let our benevolence expose us to exploitation.
You may find that you have to preserve your sympathetic nature so that it does not get exploited by others. Symbolically speaking, an angelic heart would not have to put up with everything.
9. You’ve Felt A Mysterious Presence During Difficult Moments
In days of sadness and dread, of loneliness and uncertainty, you may have been surprised by a sense that you were not quite alone. Suddenly there was a warmth or a strange quietness or a comfort without knowing why.
There can be psychological and emotional causes for experiences such as these, particularly at extreme moments.
Others see them spiritually as a sign of angels being around or a sign that God is watching over them. Sometimes the message you were supposed to receive is comfort itself.
10. Something Inside You Still Believes You’re Here For A Reason
Even when life has let you down, there may be that part of you that still believes that there is more to your life. You may not know exactly what it is, and it may have nothing to do with fame or great accomplishment.
Maybe your mission is the one person you touch, a family you make, something you construct, or a kindness you give at the perfect time. Spiritually, this continuous sense of significance might well be the most important sign of all.
Maybe the angels who touched your heart at birth did not give you an easy life; maybe they gave you a heart that can brighten up the world.
