Escaping Negative Emotions – 3 Reasons To Release Jealousy

There are so many negative emotions and we all feel some of them sometimes. Jealousy is problematic because it can ruin everyone’s life.

Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy – in fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other. – Robert A. Heinlein

Everybody Gets Jealous Sometimes

Before you embrace the fact that jealousy is bad and that you need to get rid of it, let’s talk about a few other facts.

Everybody gets jealous sometimes. People are often insecure and it’s normal to be jealous.

Of course, I’m talking about “normal” jealousy. People who have been possessive and mentally unstable should seek professional help.

This article will focus on normal jealousy levels. You will learn how to feel better and how to release negative emotions.

The first step is already done – you know you have a problem. You know that you need help.

You believe that something can be done about this issue and you’re ready to improve yourself.

Here are 3 reasons to get rid of jealousy as soon as possible.

1. Sincere Relationships

I will tell you more about jealousy in romantic and non-romantic relationships. There are a few types, and you need to recognize yours.

If you’re often jealous because your partner is in contact with someone else, and you feel insecure, you have to work on your trust issues.

A lot of people indeed cheat. A lot of people are disrespectful nowadays, but your jealousy is not useful at all.

If you and your romantic partner are meant to be together, you will ruin everything. You will scare away your partner with your insecurity.

If your partner is indeed someone who will betray, you can’t stop that and you shouldn’t stop that.

You have to allow them to be free. Your reactions, conditions, and ultimatums won’t help anyone.

You can’t forbid people to act a certain way. Relax and trust your partner.

If they betray your trust, then you know how to proceed. If they don’t you will have a great relationship that is filled with trust, honesty, and a strong bond.

If you’re jealous of your partner and you’re envious because they’re better at something than you are or they have something you want, that’s also a problem.

You can’t be sincerely happy for them. You can’t be supportive and honest.

It’s important to feel confident. It’s important to stop comparing yourself to others.

When you learn to share joy and happiness, you will get rid of these negative feelings.

Now, it’s time to address jealousy in non-romantic relationships. Siblings, cousins, and friends also struggle with this problem.

If you’re jealous because your friend, sibling, or cousin is spending more time with someone else, you have to grow up.

If you feel unloved and ignored, just treat them the same way they treat you. Of course, don’t react right away, but if this is a constant problem, just give them a taste of their medicine.

You don’t need to waste your time and energy on this. People have their own lives, and there is no need to be jealous of someone.

If you’re jealous of someone because they’re doing better in life than you are, you have to re-evaluate your life.

You’re responsible for your success. Even if you think that someone didn’t deserve something, you shouldn’t think about it.

Someone had a bit of good luck in life. Someone worked really hard for something.

You should be happy for everyone. If you can’t be happy, then don’t be jealous either.

Try to shift your focus and energy to your life. Maybe it’s time to do something great.

Maybe it’s time to be proud of yourself. Just because you haven’t accomplished something doesn’t mean that your loved ones deserve your jealousy.

When you get over this toxic feeling, you will see the beauty of friendship and connections.

You will be more positive about everything and other people will love you more when your heart becomes pure.

All of your relationships will be more sincere and fulfilling.

2. Success

I’ve mentioned that jealousy often appears when you’re not happy with your life.

You feel like you’ve failed and you feel like good luck has abandoned. So, when someone else seems better than you, you become jealous.

If you manage to release jealousy, you will find your path to success. You will have more time to focus on your goals and wishes.

Don’t burden your mind with some people hovering around your significant other. Invest your time into your progress.

Don’t be busy thinking about other people’s achievements and wealth. Invest your energy into realizing your dreams.

Getting rid of jealousy will also bring you a lot of positive vibrations and optimism.

You will feel peaceful and content. These positive emotions will help you manifest success and wealth in every area of your life.

3. Freedom

Last, but maybe the most important reason to release jealousy from your mind and soul is freedom.

It’s hard to know if you’re even interested in enriching your life with better relationships and accomplishments.

But, every person in this world wants to feel free. We all want to feel like there are no worries.

We all want to feel relaxed, peaceful, and spiritual. We want to be in touch with ourselves and the Universe.

Well, if jealousy is your problem, getting rid of it will bring you a lot of freedom and clarity.

You will find your path and you will be able to see the wonders of life. Freedom will give you a whole new perspective.
