Only the February 24 and October 1 approaches occur farther away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd wp-block-paragraph\">So we shouldn&rsquo;t expect the enormous-looking Moon usually associated with closer perigees. It&rsquo;s also a waning crescent, meaning much of the lunar surface will remain dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd wp-block-paragraph\">But that&rsquo;s precisely what makes this one interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd wp-block-paragraph\">The Moon is physically closer while becoming less visually dominant. That creates a strange contrast between something feeling near and something else gradually dissolving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It feels as if the answers are there, but we&rsquo;re not ready to do anything with them just yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. You could begin to understand why certain experiences affected you the way they did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd wp-block-paragraph\">The perigee brings the subject nearer, but the waning Moon asks what you&rsquo;re prepared to stop carrying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd wp-block-paragraph\">That&rsquo;s the central tension of this moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But closeness doesn&rsquo;t always mean continuation.
