Besides, if you trust that person, you&rsquo;re most likely going to pause and think whether you&rsquo;re actually overreacting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all want to be understood and validated, so we try not to be difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As to why people choose manipulation &ndash; it&rsquo;s easier to get you to <strong>second-guess yourself<\/strong> than to take responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, this kind of behavior is rarely a one-time thing.
