Each sign has a unique way to process 悲しみ. Some will reminisce and hold onto the past, whereas others will avoid thinking about ‘what ifs’ at all costs.
We all have things we grieve, and zodiac signs, according to their personality traits, each have different things they wish they had accomplished.
1. Aries
An Aries often grieves missed opportunities or moments of acting too quickly as a result of their dynamic, quick nature, often making choices that they may later question.
They may not show their conflicted feelings publicly, focusing on what their next moves are. Beneath their façade of confidence are often hidden regrets for Aries, and they often struggle to slow down enough to process their feelings.
Learning to trust that not all situations require immediate action and reflection will help an Aries feel at peace with their past instead of wishing to escape from it.
2. Taurus
A Taurus often experiences grief over something from their past, whether it is a person they were in a relationship with, a particular routine they used to have, or a time in their life that was good and appeared stable.
For the Taurus, sadness is a time of transformation; they want to hold on to the comforts associated with their stability, and because of the challenges of having to deal with the changes and experiences of growth, it will require time in order to develop a sense of balance.
By learning when to let go and create space for something new, a Taurus will achieve a greater emotional and physical state of presence. Change is not always a bad thing.
3. Gemini
Gemini thinks about alternate paths often, daydreaming about things they could have accomplished and how their lives would be different had they gone down alternative paths.
Since they’re very curious people with many avenues and possibilities in front of them, they often grieve not following other paths.
Even if they are currently happy, they may think about other possible outcomes, making it hard for them to completely let go, creating a subtle feeling of loss within themselves.
4. Cancer
Cancer may often grieve emotional connections that have changed or ended. They form deep connections with people and often have vivid memories of those connections, and even after they have moved on, they still feel as if they are connected to the past.
This may make it difficult for a Cancer to fully let go of any relationship. Cancers are also very sentimental, so the memories of those connections will be alive for them.
The challenge for Cancer is to recognize that they do not need to carry any past connection as an emotional burden, and when they release their past, they will have the ability to make new connections without comparing them to their past.
5. Leo
Many Leos often grieve moments when they feel unappreciated. They naturally give their energy and presence to their relationships, and when the person they are with does not reciprocate their energy and presence, it has a long-term effect on them.
Many Leos would not show feelings; instead, they would work hard to remain confident. However, many Leos have a quiet sense of disappointment when they are not in the spotlight and when others take them for granted.
6. Virgo
Virgos easily get their hopes up and can find themselves very upset when the results are less than they expected. They tend to overvalue the outcome, based on the time they spent working on it and how much effort goes into making it.
They may spend a lot of time thinking about what they would have done differently, adding even more stress to themselves. Accepting that not everything can be perfect or minutely controlled is one of Virgo’s biggest challenges.
When they learn to let go of the need for everything to turn out perfectly, they start feeling more comfortable with themselves.
7. Libra
Libras frequently experience grief regarding the imbalance of their relationships with other people. They are often very passionate about establishing an emotional connection and harmony with another person.
When they feel that there is an unequal balance in the relationship, it has a very significant impact on them emotionally. They often give much more to the relationship than they receive, and this builds over time into a very quiet but ongoing feeling of dissatisfaction.
To maintain peace, they may not express this dissatisfaction verbally, even though they are still feeling oppressed by it.
8. Scorpio
Scorpios possess emotional grief from dealing with a betrayal or loss of trust.
While most people experience this form of emotional pain in a much larger context (i.e., within a close, loving relationship), even small instances of trust or betrayal can profoundly affect a Scorpio and can remain with them longer than with other people.
Trust is very important to Scorpios, and, therefore, they may not forget someone who has broken it. The emotional distance between a Scorpio and that person due to lost trust can become much larger by not knowing how or where to start rebuilding trust.
Creating a step-by-step plan for rebuilding trust will reduce this emotional distance over time.
9. Sagittarius
Sagittarius grieves lost freedom or experiences.
They love to move and explore, and feeling trapped makes them restless, thinking about what they could be doing instead, creating emotional separation from where they are right now.
Their challenge is to realize that they can grow from anywhere. Once Sagittarius starts creating growth where they are, they start to overcome their lost feelings.
10. Capricorn
Capricorns tend to grieve for time wasted due to responsibilities. They put their long-term goals first and tend to miss moments in their lives as a result.
Although that may not be visible, they continue to move forward with that feeling under the surface.
Their challenge is essentially to enjoy the moment. When Capricorn learns how to have both personal and work time in their life, their quiet regret diminishes.
11. Aquarius
Aquarius tends to grieve overthinking how others perceive them. Since they think differently, they often feel that others do not fully understand them, creating emotional distance for the Aquarius.
They often go to extremes of independence to distance themselves from discomfort, though they hold onto that discomfort underneath.
Their challenge is finding people who truly understand their way of thinking. Once an Aquarius finds acceptance, the discomfort of not belonging fades away, and they can bond with others more easily.
12. Pisces
Pisces grieves how different reality is from what their imagination promises. They tend to see unlimited potential and possibilities in people and situations.
When the reality does not match that picture, they struggle to let go of the possibilities of how things could have been. As a result, they feel emotionally burdened.
Their challenge is finding the ability to stay grounded. When a Pisces separates their imagination from their sense of reality, the weight of their emotional burden is considerably lessened.
Born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ever since I was a little girl, my imagination knew no bounds. I remember vividly how I’d scribble down short stories, each page bursting with adventures and characters conjured up from the whimsy of my mind. These stories weren’t just for me; they were my way of connecting with my friends, offering them a slice of my fantasy world during our playtimes. The joy and excitement on their faces as we dived into my fictional realms motivated me to keep writing. This early passion for storytelling naturally evolved into my pursuit of writing, turning a childhood hobby into a fulfilling career.
