Over time, however, some of these tribes disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>They are called the &ldquo;Lost Tribes of Israel.&rdquo; People have wondered for centuries what happened to them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some tribes stayed in the land, while others were scattered, conquered, or mixed into other nations.
