We tend to make friends with people we see often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Going to a different bar every day and meeting new people won&rsquo;t get you anywhere. You&rsquo;ll end up with a bunch of acquaintances but no friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, attending a <strong>yoga class,<\/strong> a <strong>book club<\/strong>, or frequenting a coffee shop actually creates opportunities to get to know people better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You get to spend time with the same group of people until someone eventually suggests meeting somewhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is where adult friendships begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. We&rsquo;ve been conditioned to play it cool and hide our excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We keep waiting for the other person to make the first <em>e<\/em> the second move, always afraid that we&rsquo;re being too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But you shouldn&rsquo;t let this fear stop you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you had a good time, say so and <strong>suggest doing it again<\/strong> next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the other person actually doesn&rsquo;t vibe with that, then you know they&rsquo;re not the kind of friend you&rsquo;re looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the <strong>vulner\u00e1vel<\/strong> part, and if you really want to make friends, you&rsquo;ll have to take some risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
