Firstly, yoga was looked upon as a spiritual practice meant to <strong>bring<\/strong> the practitioner <strong>closer to the divine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It&rsquo;s also meant for self-realization.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three main forms of this practice, called <strong>Hatha, Raja and Kundalini yoga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Both are equally good for your physical health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pranayama<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pranayama concerns <strong>t\u00e9cnicas de respira\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The way you breathe is important in any physical exercise, but primarily in yoga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Controlling your breath may calm your mind and allow for better focus in meditation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It relaxes and eases you, which is the very point of these exercises. <strong>They open you up to the divine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pratyahara<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This component is otherwise called <em>&lsquo;Sense Withdrawal&rsquo;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&rsquo;s the part of the exercise where <strong>you focus on your inner self<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You quiet your mind, outside things stop drawing your attention, and you&rsquo;re <strong>ready to meditate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
