Your chakras are the seven energy centers that run from the base of your spine to the top of your head.
Each one balances a different part of your life: health, creativity, confidence, relationships, intuition…
What brings them all into harmony is your lifestyle. Your chakras, as well as different parts of your life, suffer when you fall into a rigid routine of working and sleeping.
They require creative work 和 快乐 to stay balanced. So, here are the different hobbies that can benefit your 7 chakras!
1. Mooladhara
The root chakra lives at the base of your spine. It’s what keeps you feeling safe and grounded.
When this chakra is out of balance, you might feel anxious and restless, as though you’re living in someone else’s body.
To fix it, you just need to go back to the basics that keep you healthy: walking, good food, yoga, cycling…
The root chakra requires 运动 和 自我保健.
If you can’t dance or go to the gym, simply taking a walk every chance you get can improve it.
When it’s time for a snack, try to avoid processed food as much as possible. Eat a peach instead of a candy bar, for instance.
Cycling and other exciting activities get your blood flowing and keep your head clear.
The best thing about these hobbies is that they don’t require any special talent; they just require you to put yourself first!
2. Swadhisthana
Your sacral chakra sits just below the belly button. It houses your creativity, pleasure, 和 情感.
When it’s out of balance, you’re likely to feel numb and uninspired.
To bring this chakra back to harmony, you need to find ways to channel your thoughts instead of letting them run through your head without control.
Journaling is a good hobby to pick up if you’re prone to overthinking. And even if not, it will prompt you to explore some things you didn’t even know you were holding in.
Painting, even if you’re bad at it, helps you channel your emotions into something.
Massaging yourself with warm oil also helps balance this chakra because it allows you to literally connect with yourself.
Meditation is also a great way to declutter your mind and just be.
The more you prioritize expressing yourself through these hobbies, the more alive and connected you’ll feel!
3. Manipura
The solar plexus chakra is located in your stomach, and it governs your confidence and willpower.
When it’s unbalanced, you feel small. You’re afraid to take up space and make independent choices.
The way to harmony is through hobbies that force you out of your comfort zone, little by little.
Theatre is a great way to challenge yourself to speak in public and to strangers. It puts you on the spot, demanding vulnerability, which is exactly what you need to gain confidence.
Adventure sports force you to face your fears in a controlled way, allowing you to push through challenges and come out stronger.
Martial arts are also suggested as a great way to come into touch with your own strength.
Perfection isn’t the goal of any of these. Balance comes through experience, and that’s all you need.
4. Anahata
The heart chakra sits at the center of your chest. It’s what connects your inner world with everyone around you.
When it’s out of balance, you feel isolated and lonely, even around other people.

5. Vishuddha
The throat chakra governs self-expression, and when it’s blocked, you start to hold back.

Singing, writing, or even participating in a podcast can help you improve this chakra over time.
It’s important to keep in mind why you’re doing these hobbies. You might not be a talented singer or speaker, and it doesn’t matter.
You’re doing them to give yourself permission to speak up and demand to be heard.
While writing is a quiet hobby, it allows you to work on your inner voice. You become better at quickly sorting your thoughts, speaking more coherently as a result.
Most importantly, none of these hobbies need to be something you do publicly. Sing in your car and have a private podcast with a friend.
Balance will come as a result, whether you choose to have an audience or not.
6. Agya
The third eye chakra sits between your eyebrows. It controls your 直觉 和 mental growth.
When it’s unbalanced, you feel indecisive and scattered. You make decisions based on others’ approval rather than your own gut instinct.
The best hobbies to choose are those that train your mind: reading, learning a new language, meditation, solving puzzles…
Reading expands your worldview, and learning a new language does wonders for your brain!
Meditation is a direct route to this chakra; even a short daily meditation trains you to notice your thoughts rather than being carried away by them.
