The heart of the dead person was weighed against the feather of Ma&rsquo;at, which stood for truth and moral harmony, during the judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point, spiritually, it was clear whether the person <strong>had lived in accordance with divine rule.<\/strong> If the heart was&nbsp;light, the soul would have peace forever. There was a mark left by every feeling, choice, and aim. Egyptians knew that the mind can make excuses, but the heart always remembers.
