Who God Welcomes and Who He Turns Away

Who God Welcomes and Who He Turns Away

The divine accepts hearts with certain characteristics, and it is not only about them being ‘good.’

If you want to allow God to enter your life, to take care of you, and to be your guide, you need to let light, goodness, and love into your heart.

Here are the characteristics of the soul that are welcomed and rejected by the divine.

God Welcomes the Humble and Turns Away the Proud

In spiritual teachings, humility is one of the strongest attributes a person can possess. The humble person is not weak but instead is open, willing to learn, and willing to grow.

The gentle-hearted person is easy to guide and is blessed abundantly by God. God’s acceptance goes to those who are eager to acknowledge their lack of knowledge and seek wisdom rather than seeking praise.

In contrast, pride and arrogance will keep you from making a spiritual connection. For example, a person who believes he/she is superior to others will shut the door to spiritual assistance/discernment.

Pride will cause a person to put all their trust in themselves, whereas humility creates the space for grace. When your heart remains open and humble, you will move into closer proximity to the presence of God.

God Welcomes the Compassionate and Turns Away the Cruel

Compassion is an important aspect of spiritual intelligence. A compassionate individual empathizes with others (and for what they have endured) in addition to putting forth an effort to do what’s right, even when nobody is watching.

Their energy is closely connected to divine love and to God’s acceptance of those who demonstrate caring, forgiveness, and understanding rather than judging others. In contrast, an individual who displays cruelty pushes God’s spirit away.

The person who harms, ridicules, and/or belittles others creates walls around their heart, leaving them isolated from the spirit of God.

Cruel actions toward another person will also harden the heart, preventing the person from receiving divine guidance. However, living a life filled with kindness will invite divine love, comfort, and protection into your life.

God Welcomes the Honest and Turns Away the Deceitful

To be honest is not just to be truthful. Honesty comes from having a clear heart; being honest with oneself (and, therefore, also with others) creates that inner space of clarity.

God always welcomes honest people who are willing to seek the truth, even when it is uncomfortable or difficult; therefore, all those who are dishonest (who deceive) will eventually block their connection to their spiritual selves.

All behavior that is manipulative, dishonest, or undermining will take an individual farther away from the clarity and closeness they have with God and the divine truth.

When one’s words and actions are in alignment, the individual typically becomes increasingly aware of the presence of God in their life.

God Welcomes the Repentant and Turns Away the Unwilling

Everyone makes mistakes. However, the difference between those who can fix their mistakes and those who cannot is based on whether the person is ready to change.

When someone feels guilty about their mistakes, they acknowledge their wrong decision and try to learn from their mistake. God will always welcome someone back who is willing to change for the better.

Healing and renewal can occur when we are open to improving ourselves and our lives. In contrast, people who do not want to change or feel good about making harmful choices create a barrier to the ability to grow spiritually.

If someone insists they are right, regardless of whether they or others are being hurt by their actions, they will limit their ability to receive divine grace. The universe will always respond to effort but never to perfection. It is very easy to receive guidance when you have an open heart for correction.

God Welcomes the Peace-Seekers and Turns Away the Chaos-Makers

Peace signifies good spirituality. Those seeking peace (in their home, their relationships, and themselves) are considered spiritually close to God.

Those who successfully resolve conflict in a peaceful manner and learn to move through their daily lives without causing suffering to others are examples of successful spiritual beings.

Those who live daily with drama, separation from others, and continual negativity are those who create a negative energy that prevents them from experiencing the many blessings God provides and live in a state of spiritual disconnect with God.

God rejects those who take pleasure in creating trouble for others. Your actions will produce a sense of peace and create spiritual protection and clarity for you if you align them with God.

God Welcomes the Pure-Hearted and Turns Away the Malicious

Purity does not equal 100% perfection; it represents good-hearted positive intentions. People with pure hearts are trying to do what they believe is right, even though they likely face struggles.

A person with a pure heart is filled with sincere feelings of goodwill towards themselves and others and does not desire to inflict pain on another person. God has an open-door policy for positive energy, as it resonates with truth.

Maliciousness darkens the soul; those who are purposefully attempting to hurt or manipulate others, or those who derive pleasure from another’s suffering, are unable to generate the divine light that flows through them.

When you act with good intent, kindness, and sincerity, you create the opportunity to be closer to God and avoid opening your spirit and soul to negative energy.
