Have you ever felt suffocated in your own home?
The atmosphere of an apartment or a house can affect your mood or how well you are able to concentrate, no matter how organized or clean your home is.
If you notice that you’re beginning to feel differently about your home, then there may be a need for an energy cleanse (letting fresh air in, redecorating, smoke cleansing, etc.).
1. You are Feeling Tired As Soon As You Walk In
If you walk into your apartment and it causes your energy to drop tremendously, whether or not you are physically tired or emotionally drained at that time, it means that your apartment is not supportive of you.
Sometimes your energy will be negatively impacted by the change in your surroundings.
Keep track of how often you have that feeling, as it typically indicates that an apartment isn’t providing the right energy for you.
2. There Are Areas of Your Home That You Avoid for No Reason
If you find that you’re avoiding rooms in your apartment that seem fine on their own, this could indicate an area that is causing discomfort to you, without you realizing it.
If this continues to occur as time goes on, it is likely going to become a false habit of yours not to go into that particular area. Understanding why an area feels less inviting than others can help you determine if you need to make changes to that area of your apartment.
Additionally, it won’t just be about forcing yourself to use that space, but also about understanding if that area carries some unresolved spiritual issues.
3. The Space Feels Cluttered Even When It Is Not
You can feel your home is cramped even if every item is in its proper place and there is no physical mess. Feeling crowded often comes from the way things are positioned or things themselves carry heavy energy.
If you feel a room is full for no particular reason, it can make it difficult to concentrate. When your concentration is disrupted and you are unable to engage, your ability to relax will also be impacted.
By becoming aware of these feelings, you can identify that you may need to make a small change or do some donating of your old stuff.
4. You Are Continuing To Have Trouble Relaxing At Home
If you are frequently finding it difficult to completely relax even during quiet moments, part of the problem may be due to the environment you are in.
This type of stress will generally show up as being restless or needing to keep your body occupied. Your home should provide relaxation; when it doesn’t, it can create stress in your body.
This type of tension is usually small at first, but it can become more significant as time passes. By recognizing this tension, you can identify that your home may need a reset.
5. You Keep Moving Things Without Feeling Satisfied
Repositioning items in your home frequently without gaining any benefit from repositioning them indicates there may be something bothering you that is not connected to just the physical part of your home.
This behavior will frequently indicate that you are feeling something is off, but not know exactly what is causing this feeling.
Although moving things gives you some short-lived pleasure, if the pressure comes back, this is usually a sign of spiritual factors having created problems. By understanding these patterns, you can identify that you likely will require a larger reset in order to resolve the issues.
6. The Air Feels Stale or Heavy and Plants Aren’t Thriving
A room can appear small and closed, even though it’s still clean, due to the air being stale because there’s no airflow from outside. This can also happen when you’ve spent too long in the same area without a break.
Air has more effect on how a room feels than we realize. When the air feels heavy in a room, this can make the room uncomfortable for you while you’re using it. This is a good indication that your air is stale.
A simple change, such as opening a window or changing the environment slightly, can significantly add to the comfort of the room.
7. You Feel More Irritated at Home Than Elsewhere
If you start to become very frustrated with minor things once you get home, this could indicate that the environment is contributing to your frustration in general and that you need to do an energetic cleansing of your house/apartment.
You may not realize this at first, but it may show up as having a much shorter fuse or getting stressed more quickly.
Over time, it will affect your overall experience of the space you call home. A home should not be a place that adds stress to your life. Recognizing these signs can assist you in determining when changes should be made.
8. You Struggle to Focus on Simple Tasks
If you find it hard to concentrate on performing basic tasks at home, it may show that the environment of that space does not support the attention or energy you are trying to have while completing that task.
This may result in being distracted or just not finishing what you started. Basic tasks may take longer to complete than you expect them to.
Sometimes this is caused by what you’re trying to do, while other times it has to do with the environment. Recognizing this will aid you in determining when to make modifications.
9. The Space Feels the Same Every Day
When there is not enough change in your home (no or little moving of furniture), this can make the space seem stagnant and monotonous. If no changes occur in your space, no matter how big or small, it could possibly have an effect on how you experience the space.
Constantly moving things around is not the answer; small things like changing how you adjust the lighting or the layout may create a difference.
If everything appears to be the same, your ability to become engaged with the space will be diminished. By being aware of the need to create small changes, you can positively alter the way the space is perceived.
10. You Do Not Feel Connected to the Space
If you no longer feel a connection or affinity toward your home or the environment around you, it could indicate a disconnection with both your routine and your environment.
Over time, as you change your general routines, your connection to the space may fade, but if you continue to utilize that particular area for your daily routines, it will have a neutral feeling and not a connection.
Your disconnection with a space or room does not relate to how the space looks. Your disconnection is more related to how the space meets or does not meet your current physical or spiritual needs.
By recognizing your disconnection to any particular area, you can help determine how best to modify your environment to reestablish your connection with that space or room.
Born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ever since I was a little girl, my imagination knew no bounds. I remember vividly how I’d scribble down short stories, each page bursting with adventures and characters conjured up from the whimsy of my mind. These stories weren’t just for me; they were my way of connecting with my friends, offering them a slice of my fantasy world during our playtimes. The joy and excitement on their faces as we dived into my fictional realms motivated me to keep writing. This early passion for storytelling naturally evolved into my pursuit of writing, turning a childhood hobby into a fulfilling career.
