It is believed that meditation represents focusing the mind on one thing at a time to achieve a sense of calm, and relaxation and improve self-awareness.
Ancient people believed that meditation could have a great influence on your body and because of that, they spent 20 minutes in meditation every day.
The thing is that in everyday life we do several things at the same time, so we are focused on several activities. That makes it difficult to center thoughts during the meditation.
