How to Know if You’re Dreamwalking?

How to Know if You’re Dreamwalking?

Dreamwalking is a kind of astral projection that takes place while the body is sleeping.

Spiritually sensitive people and those with psychic abilities are naturally prone to wandering the astral plane while asleep, sometimes, without even knowing they’re doing it.

Here are 5 signs that you might be a dreamwalker!

1. Waking Up With Sore Feet

Have you ever woken up feeling like you’ve been dancing the whole night, when you’ve actually slept through the night?

This is a common physical indicator of dreamwalking.

Although your physical body is resting in bed, your astral body is out there exploring different realms and dimensions.

And because the astral body mimics our physical form, the energy it spends can be felt.

You might feel it in your feet, your back, or your whole body. If you haven’t been doing any exhausting activities in your waking life, this might be the sign you’re looking for.

Your body is letting you know that your soul has been busy while you slept!

2. Revisiting the Same Dream Locations

Do you have a dream location that you return to over and over again?

It might be a city you’ve never been to or a tropical island.

When you repeatedly visit the exact same locations in your dreams, it is highly likely you’re dreamwalking.

Sei frequenting the same spots in your dreams just like you always go to that one coffee shop in your waking life.

Certain locations radiate specific energy that attracts souls.

So, if it feels like your spirit has a favorite place in your dreams, and it just knows its way around them, you might be a wanderer!

3. Full Sensory Awareness in Your Dreams

In a standard dream, everything tends to feel a bit hazy. It’s common to even be aware that you’re dreaming.

You might be sad, angry, or even laugh, but none of these will be reflected on your physical body.

But what happens when you can smell the rain o taste food in your dreams?

Experiencing vivid sensory awareness in your dreams is a sign of astral projection.

When you dreamwalk, your consciousness is fully engaged in the astral environment.

If your dreams feel as real as reality, your soul is definitely out there, exploring.

4. Hypnagogic and Hypnopompic Hallucinations

These hallucinations refer to the liminal spaces between waking and sleeping.

Hypnagogic hallucinations happen as you are drifting off, while hypnopompic ones occur as you are waking up.

During these moments, you might see glowing shapes, hear voices, see shadowy figures in your room, and even feel like you’re floating!

In mystical circles, these are seen as proof of consciousness slipping in and out of the physical body, and your brain almost catching on!

If you frequently experience these intense hallucinations, it’s a sign that you’re dreamwalking.

5. Meeting the Same People in Your Dreams

We all dream about our friends and coworkers, maybe that one horrible professor from college, but what if you keep meeting the same strangers in your dreams?

You don’t know them, you’ve never seen them in real life, yet these people keep appearing before you.

When you dreamwalk, you are roaming a shared astral space where other souls and entities also visit.

The strangers you meet could be astral guides, spirits from past lives, or simply other souls having an out-of-body experience at the same time.

If you recognize the same “characters” again and again, take it as a sign of dreamwalking.

You’re encountering other conscious beings in your sleep.
